Please have patience with us . . .

Aologise for any inconvenience but we are presently changing our pages slightly but will have this completed within the next 24 hours. Thank you for your patience.

What we miss the most once our Elders have gone before us

Ask any person what they miss the most after their loved ones have gone before us and some of the answers will undoubtedly be - although not necessarily in this order:

1 Their presence
2 The telephone conversations
3 The weekly or daily visits
4 The smell of their house
4 The perfume or aftershave
5 The sound of their voice and laughter
6 The name they used to call us
7 Their antics

There are many more things that people don't think about until it is too late, but for the benefit of your children, their children and their childrens children, now is the chance to start filling that gap so that they can have, albeit a smaller, experience of what you love/loved so much rather than just saying "this is what your Granny/Grandad/Auntie/Uncle/Dear friend looked/sounded like and used to always say.

When you have a moment or an hour or so to spare, why not take out your mobile phone or set up a video recorder and record even just a normal conversation or some of the questions you might wish to ask your respected elder. Some questions to help you with this can be found at this link

Although funeral Services are something that no one likes to think about let us now consider recording these very special Services with
'A Celebration of Life' at the front of our minds.

One of the reasons for this is so that when you do experience that huge void you have something, other than a photo or your favourite item that belonged to them, to clutch on to for comfort.

There is so much to do after you have lost a relative or a close friend and this can often result in us becoming forgetful of others or perhaps 'insular' for a while. However, your funeral Directors will help to organise and answer all the questions needed and they succeed in taking a tremendous amount of weight off your shoulders. We, at this stage, would like to thank and acknowledge all Funeral Directors for their vision for precise detail so that each and every service is run smoothly and given that 'unique touch'. A touch that will forever be remembered.

However, on the day of a funeral usually most individuals are, naturally, feeling very emotional and can find it difficult to hear the majority of the, often extremely humbling, tributes or to sing the hymns sung or indeed to take on board all who have supported them by attending. Often this leaves us overwhelmed at the amount of people in attendance. Sometimes we don't realise the impact our loved ones had on others until this dreadfully sad last day. We can forget our loved ones had another life perhaps before we were born or indeed their work might have meant they led two lives, often the latter we perhaps knew little of until this day.

Many people think to themselves afterwards or with the benefit of hindsight, "I just wish I could hear it all again". Perhaps one of your children created and dedicated a poem to your loved one and, afterwards, or with the benefit of hindsight and for the people who were unable to come to the Service, perhaps due to ill health, work commitments or living in a foreign country, you wish you had recorded it, perhaps not to listen to there and then but in a week, a month or a year or decades later.  Whichever way a recorded copy means the world to many different individuals and leaves that potentially massive gap filled with warmth, affection, love, sincerity and lovely memories to treasure in the form of a simple small CD.

For those who have chosen to record Services, they have all agreed that they were glad they did because of the comforting feeling they are left with after hearing each tribute again.

To fill that huge void that we have ALL experienced please, for the benefit of others consider everyone that your loved ones heart touched and let them share this very special day.

If you wish  "The celebration of your Loved ones" Service recorded please feel free to contact us.

It just takes a phonecall or an email to organise and allows you to be totally free on the day.

Help to encourage less littering in our Communities by not spoiling our children!

How many of us walk round parks disgusted by the amount of litter, broken glass and other dangerous items lying around, or, perhaps the wind blows all the lighter objects in to a corner making it look as if someone has emptied a tonne of crisp packets, squashed empty cans, snack containers and many other undesirables!

The next time we take the same route, how many of us decide to actually take a large empty bag (or 2) and a grabber (the ones you can buy for children do a wonderful job) to pick up some of these objects - unfortunately the answer to this question is 'not very many' or how many of us think to ourselves "well actually it's the local Councils job and not any one else's".

So, with this in mind and with a few of us having done the latter and having left a few plastic bags tied on to lamp posts in daylight when the 'offenders' could see us, we were pleasantly surprised to see these offenders actually starting to put their litter in to the bags that we had conveniently placed in 'natural dumping areas'.

Which brings us on to the next conclusion, actually two conclusions . .

1 If the younger generations see us, as adults, tidying up in public areas, they will follow suit, however, if they see us walking past all the debris they will not think twice about the rubbish lying around and will naturally continue to drop their litter where ever.

2 However, the main conclusion we have come to is - by 'automatically tidying up after our children' in our own homes/gardens/cars etc' we spoil them for far too long leaving them no lesson to tidy up after themselves and indeed with little respect for tidiness and with the assumption that someone somewhere will tidy up after them.

So, the little motto in this tale is : stop tidying up after your children from the age of 8 or younger, encourage them to tidy up as they go along. Or make an effort, or ask a Local Councillor, to randomly visit a park to connect with the youngsters to have a 'pick up litter hour' - you will be pleasantly surprised at the difference this will make. It will and does encourage the youngsters to have more respect for their surroundings - give it a try and see what happens - you will be quite amazed and the difference to the look of your Local Community will be incredible.

If we all pull together on this it wont take long for our world to become a healthier and happier place for young children, the elderly and our animals but more to the point individuals will be more respectful of their Communities.

Thank you for taking time to read this post

A fear of looking people in the eye

We shared a comment with you on the 30th July on Facebook about people not being able to look you in the eye, in fact some people shut their eyes when they are speaking to you and for some this is extremely irritating and seen as totally impolite and rude - - However, for those people who have this problem, nine times out of ten this means they often have an underlying problem and unfortunately will often face more issues in life than those who can look you in the eye.

There are quite a number of reasons for this and we would like to share some of them with you - perhaps these individuals have -

1 Something to hide,

2 Are frightened (for whatever reason),

3 A wish to domineer the conversation -

4 A mistrust for people

5 A fear of being bullied

6 An issue at remembering what they were going to say

More often than not if people have this issue they are rejected from or by others. . . ., for some they can be easy targets and can get hurt even more because of this.

If we are working with animals or humans who can not look you in the eye due to what ever reason, then the first thing we train them 'indirectly' to do, to give them that feeling of confidence, security, comfort or lack of fear, is to look you in the eye.

For the safety, security and comfort of others (humans or animals) please can you help us to do the same . . . . if you know of someone who has a problem like this, please message us and we will help you.

There are far too many people in our world who are scared and as a result of this end up being 'easy meat' / walked over by others or who have no 'self defence' mechanism, let us all try and reduce this and increase their confidence instead of rejecting them.

Often we reject them because of our own fear of not being able to trust, when in fact the main cause is often a massive fear or insecurity in the person who can not look you in the eye.

"Until an animal can look you in the eye it's fairly safe to say that you will experience behavioural issues" resolve it and a 50 50 communication language can be achieved and their confidence increased in the process.

On behalf of many who have suffered from this in the past please help us to help others.

Scary - 75% physicians in the world refuse chemo for themselves . . .

Yet again another article found on Physicians not choosing to take chemo for themselves or indeed for their families LINK

Cancer is a word that scares us all and is such a difficult illness to digest but these days, with it becoming, unfortunately, so common we need to continually remind ourselves that we are not the only ones suffering either from it or indeed not the only ones who know someone suffering from it

Although we believe that some people can cope with chemo the long term side effects can, for others, be dreadfully frustrating and tiring and for some they wish they had never gone through it.

We would like to suggest, for your own piece of mind if nothing else,  that if you are diagnosed with Cancer, and need to have chemo, seek alternative guidance as well as Medical advice and weigh up all the pro's and cons. Perhaps if you don't feel up to it or do not have they knowledge to use the Internet then ask a friend to take this on board for you or ask a Member of the family.

Sometimes after having an operation to remove the lump/tumour things like changing your diet to suit your specific chemical balance, can help your long term health without having to bombard your whole system with the toxins that go along with medication.

After each and every trauma we go through in life,  whether it be giving birth, the loss of someone close or even the loss of a long loved pet, a general operation which might have involved a general unaesthetic, a divorce/separation, changing jobs, being made redundant, moving house/country/town or even a coming to  crossroads in life can change our chemical balance.

Perhaps you could take five minutes out just now and consider, if you have ever suffered from any mild/severe illness either immediately or from 6 months on from any dramatic change in your life. Nine times out of ten most chronic illnesses have been triggered by something or are genetically based. For example, if you are suffering from bowel issues, skin issues as a result of these then certainly get them checked out, but try and look for methods other than medication, consider a change of diet as well. We would be happy to guide you on this.

Many modern day Doctors are happy to discuss alternative methods but if you find that you are faced with a closed door or are being steamrollered by believing this is the only option then, please, spend some time on Chief Inspector Google. At the end of the day we should always remember there are always choices and that you, as an individual have the right to choose. But often History and 'the norm' dictates, but sometimes, for some, this is not the best option.

Our choices these days are massive in comparison with years ago when Medication was the only option to either solve or mask the problem in hand. For the sake of your health long term, an hour or so spent doing your own investigations can indeed result in a healthier lifestyle without the continual long term effects of many drug based methods. Don't be frightened of the choices, there will be one out there that suits you -  on behalf of those who have suffered for years in the past, give yourself and others this chance of a healthier life.

Red meat v some Cancer

Having discovered an article today and responded to it's contents as soon as we felt it was only right to share it here as well -

We are so delighted to read this in black and white (Medscape). . . . it has been our belief for years that these can have a particularly negative effect on some individuals chemical balances - perhaps people might now start to think that they could do with finding out what their own individual chemical balance needs are now rather than leaving it till it's too late. . . . there is link to this on our facebook page

Having just sent in a third reply to a different Forum comment this evening I thought it only right to share it with you all as well - This relates to 'The immune System"

• Good evening . . . . . , it is late here tonight and I have meetings all day tomorrow but wanted to thank you for mentioning that you thought I had touched on a very important point. I totally acknowledge this and that each and every animal and human has their own individual chemical balance, and have seen with my own eyes, the benefits of the realisation on this matter whereby each individual reacts differently to each food/medication i.e. where one will, knowledgeably react to, for example chemo or, medication, prior to being given it, where as the other wont. I strongly feel that this is a huge void in the Medical profession and all too often individuals are treated as a 'Group' because of their symptoms' and not as individuals, Simple example being the flu jag, types of Thyroid medication, MMR and chemo to mention just a few. On many occasions I feel that too many medicinal treatments have too many concoctions in them and that often one or two of the ingredients almost, to put it simply, coagulates with the other - that is once it has been digested in the warmth and wet human/animals system causing a negative reaction such as triggered heart attacks, fits and other nasty side effects.

I totally think the Medical and Surgical world are doing a terrific job but, on occasions they are missing the individuality of each case and often utilize the elimination game offering a variety of drugs, and spending millions of unnecessary dollars in the process, with all their side effects until they find a drug that does not give the person a negative side effect, in the meantime, for some individuals they end up worse off in the long run because of the reaction of the medication they had been prescribed in the first place.

Similar to that of diabetes - each diabetic reacts differently to, for example a carrot, or a small or large banana, or the type of sugar replacement that is within the ingredients of, for example caffeine and sugar free lemonade or just something as simple as tea or coffee brands. This is an area that I feel is grossly misunderstood or not given the chance by many Professional Bodies but if it was there would be more money available to be spent on other Medical areas or towards 'mixing the right ingredients' together, as a simple example.

I whole heartedly believe that the Medical world can and will, in the future, although many do not like this idea, walk together in a more acceptable way for the absolute betterment of each individual whether human or animal and also for the long term economical state of our world today.

Once being given the correct foods and medication for the individuals chemical balance -although it can take anything from a week to 5 weeks for an individuals system to return to its' normal level - depending on the severity of their weaknesses in the first place of course, it is at this stage and this stage only that they become more immune to all the illnesses or infections that they were previously susceptible to.

Once again, thank you for replying to my comment and heres hoping that between us all we can allow less people to suffer from the side effects that are often inflicted on individuals unnecessarily so.

Regards

Judi

SPECIAL OFFER . . .

SPECIAL OFFER THIS WEEK (this will come round again)

TEN PEOPLE ARE BEING INVITED TO JOIN OUR OUR UNIQUE DEDICATED AND PASSIONATE GROUP . . . . .

Hi, we would on behalf of all animals and humans, like to personally invite you to our unique dedicated and passionate Group which is totally geared towards allowing all/more animals and humans having a voice with a view to them living in a happier and more understanding (of their needs) world.

We are absolute believers that every animals has it's own voice and although many say for example a dogs a dog or an elephant is an elephant, each and every animal has its' own key, and this is why this Group is so unique, just as each and every member within it is unique. Each and every one of us are all keen to concentrate on giving ALL animals a voice, no matter whether they are tame or wild. If we, as a Group, stand strong, and learn from each other then we have the chance of helping millions of other animals but who are presently in an extremely controlling and suffocating world.

So without further ado here is a wee 'To do list'

The idea is to share as many issues as possible so that others can learn from them

If after a while you would like to associate yourself or link yourself to our 2013 Global Health Campaign we would be happy to supply you with our Logo on which you could place a link and we would of course reciprocate.

The Plan is, at this early stage anyway, to have 5 different Departments

1 POT LUCK

Once a fortnight a participants name will be pulled out of a hat and be given the chance of a 30 minute private or public consultation via FB or Skype - FREE

2 THE DROP IN CENTRE

Where we can post or meet as a Group to discuss common issues and jointly or individually resolve them - similar to that of an open forum - FREE

3 ONE to ONE Consultations with you and your pet/animal

Initially three times a week Judi will be available for in depth (one to one if desired) Consultations and ultimately producing an analysis and a structured procedure list to resolve an issue that individuals are experiencing with either a wild or tame animal. As an example this could cover a skin/health/behavioural/ abuse issue.

After receiving and carrying out the suggestions from the issues discussed at the One to one Consultations, it will be up to the individual whether he/she would like their story to go public within this Group. There is an advantage to this - it could help someone else in a similar situation and give them hope. If we can always remember the Motto or the name of this Campaign ' Help yourself, others and all animals Campaign 2013' then your decision should be fairly easy. However, we will all respect your wish if you decline from this suggestion or wish to keep it in total confidence.

Confirmed again that some foods cause cancer

It's so reassuring to come across yet another site confirming that some foods cause cancer.

More scary than that was Radio 2's programmed with Jeremy Vine this afternoon between 12.00 and 14.00  take the cursor to 01.40 mins in and sit back and listen to Jeremy speaking to Maurice Saatchi about his experience with Cancer which sadly took his wife. Our thoughts go out to Maurice and all who have experienced the same and we thank them for sharing their story with us.

If you end up taking or choosing Chemo it is undoubtedly an invasive drug and can often fight with the food we eat so although you would generally (when not on treatment) not react after eating certain foods these same foods can give us a negative effect. But on the other hand there are certain foods that do not fight with the treatment, but again it depends on your individual chemical balance as to which these are.

Also discussed was how your immune system can often never return to normal after treatment because of the Chemo concoction  having killed off a large number of healthy cells as well as unhealthy, and this is one of the keys where it is absolutely essential to know which foodstuffs can help each individuals chemical balance and not to assume that all foods are good for you after having such medication. As we have already discussed in various posts and pages throughout this Blog various sugars, natural and otherwise can trigger additional issues and often not help your immune system. We can not stress enough that you must try and give your own body what it needs for ITSELF to heal and recuperate which in turn  will speed the healing process up.

If you are going through treatment at the moment please give your body this chance, and help others to benefit in the same way.

Spread the word worldwide - Help our Elderly become unlocked

If you are passionate about helping people to communicate and happen to find yourself helping an individual who is in a 'care home' and using tools such as large picture books, why not take in a few books other than the one that the person you are going to see would like and let some of the other immediate neighbours who may be sitting next to the person you are visiting enjoy them as well - for example -  A book of garden flowers, perhaps one of Royalty, and another on animals - elephants are always a great hit. This will absolutely encourage joint conversations and expressions, it will encourage others not to earwig so much, but more importantly it  will give them all additional stimulation. Please spread the word and encourage others to help not only themselves but others as well, no matter their situation.

Let us all join in to help 'unlock' all those who have, out of no choice of their own, become locked in.  If you need guidance as to how or where to start, feel free to message us.

If you find that the individual you are visiting can't talk at all, PLEASE don't talk for them, encourage their expressions to talk to you by using your own expressions. Discover from a Member of their family what type of Music they like, get a copy of it, and pop it on to a cd, find some ear plugs, test the volume yourself first and ask, visually whether they would like to hear some music by placing the ear phones on your own head first, and then, acknowledge them with a nod or a shake of the head and SLOWLY place the ear phones on their ears. If one side of their face reacts badly then it is too  loud, reduce the volume. Watch their facial expressions at all times. After a few tracks give their ears a break, because often they wont have had this form of sound in their ears for a long time - Imagine yourself in their shoes, A SILENT WORLD then all of a sudden they hear what they used to hear and enjoy so much. If they smile, smile back, perhaps with an over exaggerated smile, because often their sight can be poorly

Many people think some individuals are deaf, but often they choose to be deaf because no one interacts with them in a way that is understandable to them.

On behalf of many please help us to help others. Come back to us once you have started this as a chain and add what you have found helps, because it may well help others.

Breast pain

Menstrual/Pregnancy/Mastitis Breast pain
For those of you who have been pregnant you may remember your Mum or your Gran saying - put a leaf of raw cabbage on your breast to cope with the growing pain. Many say, I'm never going to do that, or yuk, what a thought. But having experienced this myself and having suggested it to many others in the past it DOES work. However, the only cabbage that we have found to be particularly beneficial is the flat (green) cabbage.

It can be a bit cold to start with, but you could always run it under a warm  tap for a second or so, but in all fairness it seems to be the heating up of the leaf of cabbage against your skin that eases the pains - so, if you suffer from Menstrual  or Pregnancy breast pain then do give it a try.

You may have to change the leaf after about 3-4 hours, (with the heat of your body it can have a bit of an smell after about 3 hours).

Additional uses for a cabbage

The juice from a cabbage can be used for ulcers

The juice from a cooked cabbage can also be used for upset stomachs.

Green cabbage leaves can also be used for anti inflammatory purposes, so eat some so that they can help from the inside out, or again you could place it on the swollen area, but when using it for this purpose make it in to a warm poultice so that it can treat the infection/inflammation of the joint or swollen area.

Don't use cabbage if you suffer from an  under-active thyroid though but it can be useful for those with an over active Thyroid.

Here is a useful link if you would like to learn a bit more about cabbage - Don't underestimate it though - it's extremely powerful..

THE CONCLUSION -

Always have some flat green cabbage in the fridge.

We have also used and suggested this method for animals suffering from Mastitis, but the only problem that sometimes occurs is that they want to try and eat it!

Painful corns/hard skin

Have you got hard working feet
with corns or verruca's?

Squeeze a little lime juice on to the painful area. (Make sure it's not an open wound - because it would sting)

Cut a small piece of banana skin - the size and shape of the corn/verruca , then a strip of gaffa tape

Place the banana skin against the hard skin or corn

Stick down with gaffa tape or 'your skin' friendly tape

Refresh the banana skin every four hours or so but clean area before covering again with the fresh banana skin

Your corn will soften
File down/smooth off

Repeat the banana skin and tape until it has disappeared. Depending on the size and age of the corn/veruca it can take anything from 3 days onwards to be removed.

As the skin starts to soften round the edges reduce the size of the banana skin to the size of the hard skin remaining.

If you have had the corn or verruca for a matter of days it will go roughly about the same time as it came.

If you have had the corn or verruca for a matter of months it will take approximately a week to shift

If you have had the corn or verruca for years then you should start to feel immediate relief after the first few hours but it will take approximately 3 weeks plus to move -  as long as you keep treating it but you can, as it gets better, give the area a break for a few hours at a time . It is however important that you reduce the size of banana skin to the size of the corn or verruca as it shrinks and not have it contacting the healthy skin.

With reference to hard skin,  after a couple of days you should notice a huge difference.

At long last no more pain, and you can start to walk properly again therefore reducing any additional aches that you may have picked up along the way due to over-compensating for the discomfort.

Bossiness/Bolshiness in animals and humans -

Here is a link of an example of Bossiness/Bolshiness and a method of resolving it  -  we hope it will help . . .
